To meet the steadily growing demand for torsion springs, extension springs and medium-wire formed parts, Filame continues its investment strategy and announces the acquisition of a new CNC wire forming machine.
This latest-generation machine covers a wire diameter range from 0.4 mm to 2.5 mm, thereby complementing the existing Wafios machine park already in operation at Filame for this wire range. It offers a high level of production flexibility thanks to its X, Y and Z numerical axes and a rotary coiling tool, making it particularly well suited for the manufacture of double torsion springs.
In addition, the option to integrate a remote work station facilitates the execution of complex finishing operations on certain springs, further strengthening control over high value-added parts.
With this high-speed production machine, Filame reinforces its large-series manufacturing capabilities, serving demanding sectors such as the automotive industry, machinery manufacturing, defence, and more broadly industrial applications requiring precision, reliability and repeatability.
